MANAGEMENT TEAM CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

JACQUES DESPLACES, Managing Partner and Group CEO
Jacques graduated as a Civil Engineer. He came to Middle East in 1971 as a Project Manager for a leading French group laying pipelines and building desalination plants. He became a Partner in an offshore vessel company in 1975 and created Gulf Marine Services in Abu Dhabi in 1977. Starting with towing a small boat, he grew the company to own and operate a fleet of 23 vessels including 4 jack-up barges. He sold GMS in July 2007 to a private equity fund. Now as the founder and owner of Navtech Marine Services, two jack-up barges have been delivered with contracts of 5 years. Another one is under construction due for delivery 4th quarter of 2014. In this field, he is one of the most experienced and recognized person in the Middle East.

JOEDY GARCIA, Director/Executive Officer
Joedy has been with Navtech since 2007 as the Executive offcer for corporate coordination. She has a vast experience in corporate communications and has been playing an integral role in the set up and development of Navtech. She has the responsibility for corporate governance and compliance.

DAVID DESPLACES, Vice President for Business Development/Consultant
David has been part of the group's board of directors since its inception and has provided the founder with business and strategic development advice for over 20 years. His role is focused on business and quality assurance development. He is a certified ISO 9001 lead auditor and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ISM Code Internal Auditor, and completed the curriculum for both Management of Change and MLC 2006 Compliance with ABS Academy. David has 15 years of business and academic development experience. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island in Business Administration/Management.

YEHIA METWALLI, Oilfield Services Division/Chief Operating Officer
Yehia has joined NAVTECH in 2012 as Oilfield Services Division Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Metwalli has 31 years of experience with the oil services industry including oilfield technology from well-known companies such as Schlumberger and Archerwell. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Cairo University. Following an early career in well services field operations, sales, marketing and management, he held a global position in well services training, and technical support. Since inception in 1996, Yehia was one of the earliest who formed the Schlumberger Integrated Project Management ( IPM ) with emphasis on multidiscipline workover and well services integrated projects. He led and managed few major projects in Latin America, CIS, Russia and the Middle East introducing innovative techniques, and proving new business models. Yehia is an experienced oil industry M&A through his active participation in few spinoffs and mergers in Russia, Middle and Far East. Now with NAVTECH, Mr. Yehia is leading our oilfield services introduction and expansion.

STEVE HARO, Construction/Operations Manager
Steve holds a Masters in Naval and Offshore Architecture (ENSIETA). He joined Navtech in 2007. He has supervised the full construction and commissioning of two jack up barge and is currently doing the same for the third barge of Navtech. He is a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, ISM Code Internal Auditor and a qualified DPA / ABS Academy.

PIERRE EDOUARD MULLIEZ, Chielf Financial Officer/Business Development
Pierre joined the company in January 2009 after graduating with Masters in Entrepreneurship from HEC in Grenoble. He holds a Masters in Finance and Administration from Grenoble Ecole de Management. He worked in the Finance Department of an oil and gas marine company for two years. He is a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

YAN AZAR, QA/QC Manager/Deputy Constuction Manager
Yan joined the company in August 2013. He is a graduate of Ecole Catholique des Arts and Metiers, Lyon, France (ECAM) with a Master of Sciences and Engineering focused on mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, with a minor in mechanical conception by finite elements and fluid mechanics. He is certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and OSHA 18001 Lead Auditor, and ISM code Internal Auditor.

JANET GEGALAO, HR Officer
Janet joined the company in August 2010. She worked in a similar position for 3 years in an oil and gas marine company. She is a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor and an ISM Internal Auditor. She has completed her studies with ABS Academy as DPA and is certifed as ISO 14001:2004 Lead Auditor.
